The cloud encoder sends the audio to Rev.AI, which converts it into captions—typically in under two seconds. These captions are then time-synced and displayed in the Livery player for the end user.
For further enhancement, captions can be optimized with AI services like OpenAI, translated using tools like AWS Translate, and even processed by AI dubbing software to generate live-translated audio for broadcasts.
AWS translate
The translation option in the Livery platform typically follows after an audio recognition tool has generated captions from a video’s audio feed. When sent to AWS Translate, this AI tool converts captions into more than 100 languages, usually in less than one second.
