Restreaming, Multistreaming & Ingest For AI Tools

Hybrid streaming with Livery Cloud Encoder is now available. Livery is a comprehensive white-label streaming solution that gives customers complete ownership of their streamed content and related data. For those looking to broadcast on additional platforms or services, Livery provides a powerful “Restreaming” or “Multicasting” feature. This functionality splits the incoming video stream into one or more additional feeds, which can be sent to any video solution that supports RTMP.

Stream simultaneously on both your own plaform and social video platforms

This allows customers to host an interactive live broadcast on their own website while simultaneously streaming to streaming video platforms like Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Meta ,Instagram, KICK, TrillerTV, Vimeo, or any other RTMP-compatible service. For the broadcaster, this allows us to serve as an intermediary or hybrid solution for connecting with social media platforms. This approach also enables greater mutual value creation in scenarios where collaboration occurs with creators who have their own social media reach.

It can evolve into a layered model, where viewers can watch content on social media while actively participating on the Livery-supported platform. The participatory version could optionally include conditional access or function as a closed user group.

For instance, this setup could support a gamified or debate-style program where 500 or even 10,000 viewers actively participate in the interactive environment and generate data for a feedback loop that makes the event more interesting, while the rest of the audience does not actively participate and watches on social video platforms.

Ingesting video to AI Tools seamlessly

Next to sending streams to other video distribution platforms, the Livery’s restreaming plugin can also be used to ingest video to AI services for video recognition tools. These can be services that analyze and generate data for automated generation of captions, translations, dubbing, contextual and personalised advertising, commerce and gamification.

Some examples are REVAI, CaptionHub, HeyGen , Grabyo clipping, Google video intelligence streaming API, and NVIDIA Holoscan for media, Tencent Cloud Content Moderation and FastPix, Inc. And these are only the tip of the iceberg. Please share ideas on additional ones in the comments.
